[While there may be a huge discrepancy between what Steve looks like in the present day versus what Bucky remembers, his personality has stayed more or less the same. There have been changes, of course. He got his eyes opened and he grew up a lot during the war. It became about more than just putting bullies in their place. He's killed enough that he's lost count by now, and while Steve did it all for a cause he believed in, there's no denying that he's not quite the same kid he'd been when he picked fights in back alleys.
