Roxy in a suit

The thing they don't show in movies is the aftermath. After the heroes thwart the villain and stop the end of the world, or in this case stop humans from wiping themselves out, things are...chaotic. Half the leaders from around the world have had their heads blown off and people don't know what to do. It takes a few months of assignments and clean up and missions before things are back to some semblance of order for the Kingsman.

Thats around the time they realize that Roxy still doesn't have a proper suit.

As far as Eggsy's concerned, it's an absolute travesty that Roxy hasn't gotten her suit until now.

He'd just about dragged her down to the tailor on Savile Row last week. She'd been doing just fine on her missions even without the bulletproof outfit to aid her, because she's that good, but this is a matter of pride, something that Harry had instilled in Eggsy.

Also, he really wants to see how she looks in it, what kind of figure she cuts among the rest of them, being the only woman in their ranks. Eggsy doesn't know if she's the first girl to make it into Kingsman, but it doesn't matter. She deserves a suit as much as the rest of them.

So he tagged along as she went to the tailor's to pick up the finished suit, and they took the shuttle from there back to HQ. Eggsy exits the tram, reflecting for a moment on how stunned he'd been the first time he'd seen all this in all its glory. He glances over at Roxy with a giddy grin. "What're you waitin' for? Go try it on!"

He's not about to miss this moment.

Roxy resists the urge to roll her eyes at him...this time. Truth be told she's also excited to get her suit. It makes everything seem final and real, not like they are going to tell her to leave at any moment.

She's always had to work extra for everything she achieved, it was never enough to just be good or slightly better than the boys surrounding her, she always had to blow passed them, achieve things it was clear they could never do, and even then she was looked down on. But Eggsy, Merlin, the rest of the Kingsmen never looked at her like she was just a girl playing at a man's game. She was their equal, they respected her. That's what this suit represented.

"My, my, we're impatient today, aren't we?" Roxy grinned, ducking into the locker room to change. It didn't take long for her to open the door back up and step out. The black pinstripe suit fit her perfectly, it moved flawlessly with her and she could already feel that it was going to be easier to fight in.

"So? What do you think?"

When Roxy went to get dressed, Eggsy perched on one of the plush couches in the hall outside the changing room. He kicked his feet back and forth, maybe a bit too eager but no one else was in the immediate area and he wasn't sure that would have changed his behavior anyway. He'd learned by now that he shouldn't have to filter himself around his fellow Kingsmen, even if some of them might sneer at him.

Roxy wouldn't, though. She had been the first person who was kind to him in this whole operation, save for Harry, and Eggsy would always be thankful to her for that reason, even if he didn't say it out loud.

When she stepped out, he spent a good few seconds looking nothing short of stunned, his mouth falling open as he realized that she looked even better than he would have imagined. Then he grinned from ear to ear and shot up from the armrest on the settee to rush over to her.

His first instinct was to tell her she looked sick, but that might have the wrong effect. "Oh my days, you're a sight!" He grabbed for her hands with his own, clutching them in excitement.

"Merlin is gonna have to send us on a mission together now. Can you imagine how brilliant we'd look tearing someplace up in our suits?"

It was possible he was missing the point.
